Our Clinicians provide a collaborative and holistic approach to assessment of your Child / Adolescents' profile of cognitive and academic strengths and weaknesses so that interventions and treatment can be tailored to the Student's specific needs.
Neuropsychology
Specialized paediatric neuropsychological assessments to identify and address a range of developmental and learning queries including
Specific Learning Disorders with Impairment in Reading (e.g., Dyslexia)
Specific Learning Disorder with Impairment in Mathematics (e.g. Dyscalculia)
Specific Learning Disorder with Impairment in Written Expression
Intellectual Disability
Giftedness and School Readiness
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Consultation with Speech Pathologist regarding Language Disorders
Consultation with Paediatricians / Neurologist / Physicians regarding the cognitive profile of children with underlying medical and neurodevelopmental problems such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy, cancer / brain tumors, ABI, concussion or genetic disorders
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY
Specialized paediatric psychological assessment, diagnosis, formulation, and treatment of mental health, behavioural, and emotional disorders
Adjustment
Anxiety, worries, fear (e.g., phobias, separation anxiety_
Depression or low mood
Attentional difficulties, impulsivity, executive functioning difficulties
Trauma including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Issues relating to a child’s medical condition or chronic illness

Monday to Fridays 9:00 - 5:00*
Reception and booking services are available between 8:30am and 1:30pm weekdays.
Referrals:
Referrals are not required to make an appointment. However, if you would like to access Medicare rebates or are referred under WorkCover, NDIS, or other insurance companies then you will need a referral from your GP, which can be sent to us by:

Please note that we only accept NDIS Self Managed clients at this time.
Neuropsychological assessments are not covered by Medicare, although other rebates may apply. Please contact your Private Health Fund or service provider to obtain information about level of cover.
Clinical Psychology services are eligible for a Medicare rebate ($131.65 per 50+ minute session)
with a GP or Specialist Referral.
Fees:
An outline of current fees can be found under the Client Information page. Please note that a deposit may be required at the time of appointment booking and full payment is required on the day of service.
Cancellation:
As per APS recommendations, appointments cancelled with less than 24-hours’ notice will incur the full session fee, However, we understand that from time to time something unexpected can happen, please let us know if this occurs for you at your earliest convenience.
*Note: Weekend and after hours appointments through the week occasionally available on special request.
